Reflection

I must say I was really impressed by the beauty and the quality of these manipulation works or pure digital artworks. But surprisingly, there aren’t so many artworks which implement water as their main theme, maybe it’s because the water is just too common, therefore it sounds hard to make it look unique.

But what you can see from this post? Even the common can become the uncommon, so there’s really no boundary when it comes to art, the only limitation is your creativity and skill, and you need more inspiration! Freelance Designers: How To Balance Your Work Life

Do you work to live or live to work? Freelance designers may have started off imagining work as being flexible since they have freedom to plan for their own schedule. However, ceaseless project demands can make one’s life end up with wear and tear. As we all know, we become emotionally disrupted when we couldn’t get enough balance between work and lives. Being a workaholic may ironically backfire and prevent you from accomplishing what you want so hard.

For sure, we read articles or get information from the internet on how to attain a more balanced lifestyle. Yet, do we really take actions on it? Or we just go for extra mile in the work so as to hit the target? Come and read this! Below are some tips to help you to strike for balance between work and life, so that you can be, however you put it as an optimal functioning human being.

Make Time For Exercising!

You would probably agree that most freelancers lead quite a sedentary lifestyle. When you spend more than three-quarters of your waking hour sitting in front of your PC, it’s easy to become physically out-of-shape. Everyone knows you might get all sorts of health problems like cardiovascular diseases, obesity, etc. Exercise improves your immune system, which means that you will be less likely to fall sick!

Physical health aside, keeping fit has also been proven to improve one’s mental health in terms of mood, cognitive functions like memory and concentration, which are all crucial components of work productivity.

From now onwards, set aside some time each day to exercise. Even if you are pressed for time, try to work out for at least twenty minutes each time. The great thing about it is that you don’t have to make it a chore; you can always find some physical activities that you prefer, and even do it with a friend. Cycling, swimming, dancing, running and the list goes on. Frequent exercising will definitely make your mind sharper and clearer.

Quality Time With Friends And Family

Everybody needs social support from friends and family, but the question is how much and whether you are getting it. Apart from that, relationship means two-way, so you would need to consider how much you are willing to dedicate yourself to the closed ones.

This is something you need to determine it by yourself. If you have a family, it’s important for you to maintain good communication with them on a regular or even daily basis. Even if you are at home working on your projects most of the time, it doesn’t mean that you are spending genuine quality time with them. Your attention is on work more than anything else.

If you are single, then you probably have more leeway on how you want to allocate your time for friends and family. Organize an outing every now and then and really enjoy yourself when you’re there. Don’t take your work with you everywhere. When it’s time to relax and have fun, do that. It’s a good way to recharge yourself before you’re going back to work again.

Nurturing relationships with loved ones may not seem as urgent as your work, so it’s tempting for us to put work before them. But if you are willing to set aside a little bit of your working time, you will come to see that it’s really well spent in the long run and for sure, it is worthy. Isn’t it wonderful to know we are not in this alone?

Go For Vacations

Taking a vacation is a perfect way to recharge you from the drudgery of work. As much as you may love what you do for a living, focus on work day in and day out can tear down anyone’s passion and energy.

For creative occupations like designers, it is in fact essential to open up our mind and perspectives to find inspirations for your work. If you follow a rigid schedule every day, spend most of your time at home working, it is hard to gather creative ideas. Yet, when you travel to a foreign environment, where is something out of your comfort zone, you can experience new culture and formulate new ways of thinking. You see the world in a different light, and you can even come to understand yourself better.

Besides, a planned vacation some months down can actually give you something to look forward to. When you’re really stressed out by all of your works, you can look at that picture of the Bahamas beaches on your desk and imagine yourself there. You can even convince yourself to work hard and endure for now, because you will eventually get your well deserved break!

One thing to note about vacation is that it has to fulfill its purpose of recharging yourself. Be sure to go to places where you can really relax yourself and take your mind away from work. If you find city life taxing, then opt for scenic countryside vacation. If you find it a burden to take care of your kids, then don’t bring them along. You can choose to go alone, or with your loved ones.

After all, it’s your trip, but you wouldn’t want to end up becoming even more stressed out after that!

Engage In Hobbies, Learn Something

As I repeat my case about expanding your mind by traveling to different places, the same can be applied to learning something new or indulge in hobbies. One thing about working hard without giving time to yourself to explore is that your life can become too monotonous. It’s hard for you to become more creative if you are exposed to the same thing every day.

To strike for a balance between the time you’re working and the time you’re not, you can find something else that you really wish to do. The more you become good at other things as well other than your work, the fuller your life becomes. You will not only see the world in the perspective of your job alone, but instead you will also appreciate it from different angles based on what you’re learning.

Of course, one of the benefits of engaging in hobbies or learning something new is that it frees your mind from work alone. If you have several other activities which you are involved into, then you have more options to indulge yourself with. It’s just like having a TV with several channels versus a TV with only a single one. You can always switch to another when you’re bored with the one you’re watching.

There’s more to life than work. I’m sure you have a couple of hobbies or things you wanted to learn but have been procrastinating. Well, make time for it!

Daily Reflection Time

Finally, you need to have time for yourself every day. No, I don’t mean having time for yourself to spend with your love ones; I mean having time alone with your own thoughts.

We all need some amount of time for ourselves no matter we are an extroverts or introverts. It doesn’t have to be too long; fifteen minutes per day would be enough. It is time for you to be conscious of your goals, your dream and your life purpose. When you are not conscious of what you do day in and day out, days, weeks, months and even years can quietly speed by before you know it. That’s okay if you know what you are doing, but what if you don’t and you miss out on what’s truly important to you?

Another benefit from taking time to think and reflect is that it allows you to temporarily distance yourself from work and other stressors. Also you may have some existing issues which you couldn’t seem to find a good solution to resolve it, no matter how much you have been pondering over them. Sometimes, the answers to these problems pop in when you’re not focusing on them. This is most probably because you are less tensed, so your subconscious mind is able to figure out for you.

One thing you should be cautious about is the tendency to use such a time to worry about work. This should be an opportunity to put things in proper perspective, not to further burden you with problems. If you have such propensity to indulge in such counterproductive ruminations, you can use this period to clear your mind instead. Try learning some simple meditation techniques to bring down your stress level.

Conclusion

The reason why we often neglect our personal life is because there doesn’t seem to be any deadlines, unlike your projects and stuffs. Yet, it is crucial that we maintain it, just like how we should maintain our computers to keep it functioning at its best.

I’m not asking you to devote half of your time to work and the other half to your personal life; that depends on you. I’m only reminding you that we have to offer ourselves from time to time to things that are certainly more important in life than just work.

男孩问：「为什么？」
女孩说：「倦了.. 累了.. 就不需要理由了.. 」

一个晚上男孩只抽烟不说话..

女孩的心也越来越凉「连挽留都不会表达的情人能给我什麼样的快乐？」

过了许久..男孩终忍不住说：「怎麼做你才能留下来？」
女孩慢慢地说：「回答一个问题，如果你能答到我心里就答案，我就留下来。」
「比如我非常喜欢悬崖上的一朵花，而你去摘的结果是百分之百的死亡，你会不会摘给我？」
男孩想了想说：「明天早晨告诉你答案好吗？」

女孩的心顿时灰了下来早晨醒来，男孩已经不在只有一张写满字的纸压在温热的牛奶杯下第一行，就让女孩的心凉透了..
「亲爱的..我不会去摘

離婚酒店

他和她結婚整整10年了，夫妻間已經沒有任何衝動與情趣，

他越來越覺得自己對她幾乎就是一種程式與義務，

他開始厭煩起了她，尤其是單位新調進了一個年輕活潑的女孩，

對他發起了瘋狂的進攻，他突然覺得她是自己的第二春，經過再三考慮，

他決定和她離婚。她似乎也麻木了，很平靜地答應了他，

兩個人一起走進了民政部門。

手續辦得很順利，出門後，兩個人已經是各自獨立的自由人了，

不知為什麼，他心裏突然有種空落落的感覺，他看了看她：

“天已經晚了，一起去吃點飯吧。”

她看了看他：“好吧，聽說新開了一家‘離婚酒店’，

專門執行離婚夫婦的最後一頓晚餐，要不咱們到那兒去看看。”

他點了點頭，兩人一前一後默默地走進了離婚酒店。

“先生女士晚上好。”二人在包廂剛坐下，服務小姐便走了進來，

“請問兩位想吃點兒什麼？”

他看了看她：“你點吧。”

她搖了搖頭：“我不常出來，不太清楚這些，還是你點吧。”

“對不起先生女士，我們離婚酒店有個規矩，這頓飯必

須要由女士點先生平時最愛吃的菜，由先生點女士平時最愛吃的菜，

這叫‘最後的記憶’。”

“那好吧，”她理了理頭髮，“清蒸魚、溜蘑菇、拌木耳，

記住，都不要放蔥薑蒜，我先生……這位先生他不吃這些。”

“先生呢？”服務小姐看了看他。

他愣住了。結婚10年，他真的不知道老婆喜歡吃什麼。他張著嘴，

尷尬地愣在了那兒。

“就這些吧，其實這是我們兩個人都愛吃的。”她連忙打起了圓場。

服務小姐笑了笑：“說實話，到我們離婚酒店來吃這最後一頓晚餐，

所有的先生和女士其實都吃不下去什麼，所以這‘最後的記憶’

咱們還是不要吃了吧。就喝我們酒店特意為所有離婚人士準備的

晚餐——冷飲吧，這也是所有來的人都不拒絕的選擇。”

她與她都點了點頭：“那就來冷飲吧。”

很快，服務小姐送來了兩份冷飲，兩份飲料中一份淡藍一片，

全是冰渣；一份滿杯紅潤，冒著熱氣。

“這份晚餐名叫‘一半是火焰，一半是海水’，兩位慢用。”

服務小姐介紹完退了下去。

包房裏靜悄悄的，兩個人相對而坐，一時竟不知道該說什麼好。

“篤篤篤！”輕輕一陣敲門聲，服務小姐走了近來，托盤裏托著

一枝鮮豔的紅玫瑰：“先生，還記得您第一次給這位女士送花的情景嗎？

現在一切都結束了，夫妻不成就當朋友，朋友要好聚好散，

最後為女士送朵玫瑰吧。”

她渾身一抖，眼前又浮現出了10年前他給她送花的情景，那時，

他們剛剛來到這座舉目無親的省城，什麼都沒有，一切從零開始。

白天，他們四處找工作，

努力拼搏；晚上，為了增加收入，她去晚市出小攤，他去給人家刷盤子。很晚很晚，

他們才一起回到租住在地下室裏那不足10平米的小屋。日子很苦，可他們卻很幸福。

到省城的第一個情人節

那天，他為自己買了第一朵紅玫瑰，她幸福得流下了眼淚。

10年了，一切都好起來了，可兩個人卻走向了分離。她想著想著，淚水盈滿了雙眼，

她擺了擺手說：“不用了。”

他也想起了過去的10年，他這才記起，自己已經有五六年沒有給

她買過一枝玫瑰了。他擺了擺手：“不，要買。”

服務小姐卻拿起了玫瑰，“刷刷”兩下撕成了兩半，分別扔進了

兩個人的飲料杯裏，玫瑰竟然溶解在了飲料裏。

“這是我們酒店特意用糯米製成的紅玫瑰，也是送給你們的第三道菜，

名叫‘映景的美麗’。先生女士慢用，有什麼需要直接叫我。”

服務小姐說完，轉身走了出去。

“XX，我……”他一把握住她的手，有些說不出話來。

她抽了抽手，沒有抽動，便不再動彈。兩個人靜靜地對視著，什麼也說不出來。

“啪！”突然，燈熄了，整個包房裏漆黑一片，外面警鈴大作，

一股煙味兒飄了進來。

“怎麼了？”兩個人急忙站了起來。

“店起火了，大家馬上從安全通道走！快！”外面，有人聲嘶力竭地喊了起來。

“老公！”她一下撲進了他的懷裏，“我怕！”

“別怕！”他緊緊摟住她，“親愛的，有我呢。走，往外衝！”

包廂外面燈光通明，秩序井然，什麼都沒有發生。

服務小姐走了過來：“對不起，先生女士，讓兩位受驚了。

酒店並沒有失火，煙味兒也是特意往包房裏放的一點點，

這是我們的第四道菜，名叫‘內心的選擇’。請回包廂。”

他和她回到了包廂，燈光依舊。他一把拉她：“親愛的，

服務小姐說得對，剛才那才是你我內心真正的選擇。其實，

我們誰都離不開誰，明天咱們重新結婚吧？”

她咬了咬嘴唇：“你願意嗎？”

“我願意，我現在什麼都明白了，明天一早咱就去辦結婚。

小姐，買單。”他說著喊了起來。

服務小姐走了近來，遞給兩人一人一張精緻的紅色清單：

“先生女士好，這是兩位的帳單，也是本酒店的最後一道贈品，

名叫‘永遠的帳單’，請兩位永遠保存吧。"

他看著帳單，眼淚淌了下來。

“你怎麼了？”她連忙問道。

他把帳單遞給了她：“親愛的，我錯了，我對不起你。”

她打開帳單一看，只見上面寫著：

一個溫暖的家；

兩隻操勞的手；

三更不熄等您歸家的燈；

四季注意身體的叮囑；

無微不至的關懷；

六旬婆母的微笑；

起早貪黑對孩子的照顧；

八方維護您的威信；

九下廚房為了您愛吃的一道菜；

十年為您逝去的青春……

這就是您的妻子。

“老公，您辛苦了，這些年也是我冷漠了你。”

她也把自己的那份帳單遞給了他。他打開帳單，只見上面寫著：

一個男人的責任；

兩肩挑起的重擔；

三更半夜的勞累；

四處奔波的匆忙；

無法傾訴的委屈；

留在臉上的滄桑；

七姑八姨的義務；

八上八下的波折；

九優一疵的凡人；

時時對家對子的真情……

這就是您的丈夫。

兩個人抱在一起，放聲痛哭。

結完帳，他和她對經理千恩萬謝，手牽手走回了家。

婚姻就是嫁给习惯和性格

婚姻有三重境界
第一重境界：和一个自己所爱的人结婚。
第二重境界：和一个自己所爱的人及他(她)的习惯结婚。
第三重境界：和一个自己所爱的人及他(她)的习惯、还有他(她)的背景结婚。
处在第一重境界的夫妻，婚姻相对稳固。
处在第二重境界的夫妻，婚姻比较稳固。
处在第三重境界的夫妻，很少见到有离婚的。
在这个世界上，那些白头偕老的人，一生基本上都结三次婚。
第一次是在饭店里，在亲朋好友的恭喜和祝福中，与一个自己所爱的人结婚。
第二次是在家里，两人经过几年磨合，互与对方的习惯结婚。
第三次是在家族里，与对方的各类亲情结婚。
第二次和第三次结婚与第一次相比，有很大的不同。没有隆重的婚礼，也没有亲友前来祝贺，惟一在场的是双方的默契。
真正的婚姻，往往都是发生在最后的两次。
现在好多人结婚两三年就离婚了，如果仔细地分析一下，就会发现：原因就是没把自己的婚姻从第一境界推入到第二境界。
大家都知道，沸腾的水能杀死细菌。热恋和沸水一样，也能杀灭当事人身上的缺点和不足。
那些热恋中完美无缺的白马王子和小鸟依人的姑娘，进入婚姻这杯不温不火的水之后，缺点和不足会像细菌一样重新回来。
这时你必须跨入婚姻的第二境界，和他(她)的习惯结婚，接纳和包容他(她)的缺点和不足。否则，婚姻就会因根系过浅而萎缩。
那些本来是非常恩爱的一对，几年后莫名其妙地离婚了。十有八九是拒不进入第二境界的结果。
婚姻进入第二境界之后，就很少有人把离婚挂在嘴上。在心理上，他们已接受了对方性格中的不足。有的甚至还把对方的这种不足变成自己的一种关怀。这时的婚姻是甜美和温馨的，呈现出的最大特点是宽容和互补。
然而，婚姻的温馨并不能代表婚姻的稳固。稳固的婚姻还需要第三次升华，那就是与对方的各类亲情结婚。
也就是说，把你对他(她)一人的爱扩展到他(她)的父母和亲友。并且在这种爱中，对婚姻有了智慧的领悟：
你的另一半不单单属于你，他(她)还属于他(她)的父母和朋友，甚至还属于他(她)自己。婚姻一旦进入这种境界，也便进入禅定的状态，想分开都非常难。
在爱情的世界里，许多男人往往误解婚姻就是娶一个女人，而忽略了还要娶过来女人自身的追求，以及女人身后的背景。
许多女人误解婚姻就是嫁一个男人，而不知道还要嫁给这个男人的习惯和性格，以及这个男人背后的家族。
这种认识上的错误，让我们在这个世界上，看到了不少破碎的婚姻。

没有人会注定不幸，你绝不比其他人更不幸。不要因为没有鞋子而哭泣，看看那些没有脚的人吧！绝对不要把自己想象成最不行的人，否则你真成了最不幸的人.

很多人觉得活着很累，过的很不开心。其实快乐不快乐只取决你的态度。再重的担子，笑着也是挑，哭着也是挑。再不顺的生活，微笑这就撑过去了，就是胜利。

快乐与忧愁一样，是人们与生俱来的情感。初生的孩子需求简单，吃饱了就笑，饿了就哭——没有事情可以烦恼和担忧，因而孩童总是很快乐的。

每一天，你都可以过得很不快乐，也可以过得很快乐。如果你选择了快乐。那你就能获得快乐。如果你选择了郁闷，那么卓别林也无法让你开心。快乐不快乐由你自己决定的，不能被别人的行为所左右。所以，用你的新来决定你是选择快乐还是不快乐吧。

The four wives

There was a rich merchant who had 4 wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to delicacies. He took great care of her and gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much. He's very proud of her and always wanted to show off her to his friends. However, the merchant is always in great fear that she might run away with some other men.

He too, loved his 2nd wife. She is a very considerate person, always patient and in fact is the merchant's confidante. Whenever the merchant faced some problems, he always turned to his 2nd wife and she would always help him out and tide him through difficult times.

Now, the merchant's 1st wife is a very loyal partner and has made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and business as well as taking care of the household. However, the merchant did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.

One day, the merchant fell ill. Before long, he knew that he was going to die soon. He thought of his luxurious life and told himself, "Now I have 4 wives with me. But when I die, I'll be alone. How lonely I'll be!"

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I loved you most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word.

The answer cut like a sharp knife right into the merchant's heart. The sad merchant then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you so much for all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is so good over here! I'm going to remarry when you die!" The merchant's heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I always turned to you for help and you've always helped me out. Now I need your help again. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave." The answer came like a bolt of thunder and the merchant was devastated.

Then a voice called out : "I'll leave with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go." The merchant looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the merchant said, "I should have taken much better care of you while I could have !"

Actually, we all have 4 wives in our lives

a. The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.

b. Our 3rd wife ? Our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they all go to others.

c. The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they had been there for us when we're alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.

d. The 1st wife is in fact our soul, often neglected in our pursuit of material, wealth and sensual pleasure.

Guess what? It is actually the only thing that follows us wherever we go. Perhaps it's a good idea to cultivate and strengthen it now rather than to wait until we're on our deathbed to lament

有时候，我们要对自己残忍一点，不必过份地纵容自己的哀怜。

建好最后一座房子 ~ 在现实生活中，我们许多人何尝不是这样：也许一生都勤勤勉勉，刻苦努力，但在最后的那个时刻，却放弃了原则和理想，于是不得不品尝自己造成的苦果。虽然你这时后悔了，但是却为时已晚，你已经没有了改正的机会。

请你每天早上花一点点时间，心平气和问一问自己：你真正想要的是什么？什么才是你人生中最主要的？这时你才会明白，大概不会是那些将来的名利和种种担心，而是一种平静中的快乐与现实中的宁静。是你身边那些最近的事物，而不是那些遥远的目标。这能使你从早上就开始得到安慰，使你的人生留在正确的轨道上，而不再因为胡思乱想而偏离了轨道。

目的颤抖
由于做事过度用力和意念过于集中，反而将平时可以轻松完成的事情搞糟了。现代医学称之为“目的颤抖”。人生岂能无目的？然而，目的本是引领着你前行的，如果将目的做成沙袋捆缚在身上，每前进一步，巨大的压力和莫名的恐惧就赶来羁绊你的手脚，那么你将如何去约见那个成功的自我？
“目的颤抖”是因为心在颤抖。心台太低，远处的胜景便不幸为荒草杂树所遮蔽，平庸的眼，注定无福饱览那绝世的秀色；太在乎了，太看重了，结果，恐惧蛀蚀了勇敢，失败吞噬了成功。 “大体则有，具体则无”，把目光放得远一些，让生命恬淡成一泓波澜不惊的湖水，告诉自己：水穷之处待云起，危崖旁侧觅坦途。
每天超越自己一点点
卡耐基说：“只要你向前走，不必怕什么，你就能发现自己，成功一定是你的！”追求卓越成就，就是发现自己。实际上，你不必担心什么，你应该告诉自己：“要发现自己。超越自我，没问题！”
许多人被成功拒之门外，并不是成功遥不可及，而是他们不能发现自己，主动放弃，认定自己不会成功。事实上，只要你每天限定自己一定要超越自我一点点，成功便自会出现在你眼前。成大事的人就是如此。
人生最大的损失，除了丧失人格之外，就要属失掉自信心了。当一个人缺乏自信心时，任何事情都不会做成功，正如没有脊椎骨的人是永远站不起来的。
世上没有什么真正的困难障碍可以阻挡一个勇敢者、坚毅者的前进道路。班杨被投入了监狱后，依然写出著名的《圣游记》；密尔顿被挖掉眼睛之后，依然写出了《失乐园》；帕克曼能写成《加利福尼亚与俄勒冈小道》，靠的也是他一往无前的决心；英国邮政总局长夫奥西特所以能有今天的地位，也必定是靠他的毅力。像这一类成功者的例子不知有多少，而他们的成功都是以沉着坚韧为代价的。
我不把今天的事情留给明天，因为我知道明天是永远不会来临的。现在就去行动吧！即使我的行动不会带来快乐与成功，但是行而失败总比坐以待毙好。行动也许不会结出快乐的果实，但是没有行动，所有的果实都无法收获。
愤怒会使人失去理智思考的机会。在许多场合，因为不可抑制的愤怒，使人失去了解决问题和冲突的良好机会。尤其是，一时冲动的愤怒，可能意味着事过之后要付出高昂的弥补代价，你在实际生活中，愤怒造成的损失往往是难以弥补的。
人在愤怒情绪的支配下，往往不顾及别人的尊严，并且严重地伤害了别人面子。损害他人的物质利益也许并不是太严重的问题，而损害他人的感情和自尊却无异于自绝后路。
成功的最大阻碍来自于一个人的惰性。如果我们希望控制环境，而不是让环境控制我们，那么，就必须克服惰性，必须行动。只有行动才能帮助你实现自己的目标。
心动不如行动。希望什么，就主动去争取，去促成它的发生。我们无法指望别人实现我们的愿望，也不能指望一切都已经成熟，然后轻松去摘取果实。永远不会有这样的事情发生，我们要彻底打消这样的念头。
用行动来消除烦恼
烦恼，究其原因，往往是因为你缺乏行动的勇气，没有必胜的信心。成功是不会等待你的，在你烦恼的时候，那些充满信心，用行动改变自己命运的人，已经有所成就了。而此时你又烦恼了，他们行动太快了，条件太好了，他们已经这方面取得了成功，我可能永远也不会成功了，我该怎么办啊！
行动是你改变现状的捷径，而一味地烦恼则只能消磨你的斗志，动摇你的信心。烦恼是你不敢来争取行动的借口，是来自内心恐惧的借口。
行动本身会增强信心，烦恼只会带来恐惧。克服恐惧最好的办法就是行动。立刻行动！立刻行动！立刻行动！从今往后，我要一遍又一遍，每时每刻重复这句话，直到成为习惯，好比呼吸一般；成为本能，好比睁眼一样。有了这句话，我就能调整自己的情绪，迎接失败者避而远之的每一次挑战。
在失败面前，无谓的等待一定会坐失事业成功的良机。因为在当今社会，竞争激烈，失败之后，成功绝对不会主动投入你的怀抱。如果你不采取行动，只是静候佳音，那将是你所能做的所有事情中最糟糕的选择。等待只会浪费时间，坐失机会。
要让自己快乐非常简单，那就是少一份绝望，多一份自信，在身处绝境时，懂得苦中求乐，才是人生的真谛。

好感是爱的关键

男女虽然不互相喜欢，但却能够相“爱”。许多夫妻在举行婚礼的时候，仍然沉浸在浪漫的爱情之中，他们还没有清醒地去想一想彼此是否互相喜欢。浪漫的高潮一过，即使双方发现彼此并不互相喜欢，但仍可继续地“爱”下去，也许是出于一种占有感，也许是由于彼此间过分的依赖关系。但是，那些缺乏自主性、个人的愿望不能得到满足以及互相依赖的夫妻，往往会讨厌这种依赖关系，假如夫妻彼此没有好感的话，那么爱恨快就会变成恨。我们认为，好感是走向爱的关键。所谓的好感，就是R·梅所说的爱情中的友情，或者说友爱。他写道，这就是“相爱的人之间所存在的那种宽松的关系，两人在一起是种享受，这种友爱要求我们承认所钟爱的人，和他在一起，以及享受他。这是一种最简单的、最直接的友情。好感只是爱的一个方面，可是我们认为，它是唤起个人的独创性、达到彼此尊重、满足性爱的要求的关键，也就是说，是达到一种开放性的爱情、成熟的爱情的关键。”

　　浪漫的爱情是盲目的，往往是非理性的。但是，喜爱某一个人却是合理的，其基础是尊重他人，而不是盲目的热情。这并不是说热情不重要。但是，如果我们的爱情既包括好感，又有热情，那它比单纯受热情驱使的爱情要强大得多。

　　我们认为，男女双方如果互相没有好感、没有相互尊重，那他们之间就不会有开放性的爱情。因为相互尊重，是保证双方的个性、平等和开放地交流思想感情的一个基本前提，也是将我们所说的那些原则付诸实践的先决条件。但是，一开始的时候更为重要的，是双方都愿意为建立彼此间的尊重而努力。因为正确地运用所述的原则，可以增强已有的相互尊重并使其在此基础上得到进一步发展。

一) 约会前

　　遇到异性邀约时，切忌表现得不知所措，必须冷静应对！

　　假如你不喜欢对方，或者纵然有点喜欢他，但却不希望第一次便应约，你可用温和的态度婉拒，例如「我今天有点累，过两天才应你的约可以吗？」

　　记着切忌表现得太坚决或高傲，否则很容易把对方吓跑！

　　如果你不喜欢约会的节目，可跟他说明实情，但最好提出另一个建议，与原定节目性质相近，所花的费用也相差无几，免得令对方失望或感到麻烦！

二）约会时

　　初次约会应避免夜深时分单独与对方在幽静的地方见面，更应尽量保持适当的距离，避免对方情不自禁之下，超越了界限！

　　女孩子最好不要经常卖弄风情，免得对方以为你很开放及没有意养，对你避则吉之，当然，过分拘谨也会令双方显得不自然，你可以用爽朗大方，自然亲切的态度与对方相处，就像跟普朋友约会便可令对方对你留下良好印象！

三）正式恋爱

　　纵然你已开始跟对方交往，也应尽量保持矜持，并且遵守一些应有的礼节，例如：要有时间观念，顾及对方经济能力，不要拿对方与旧情人比较，充分信任对方及勿干涉对方的自由！

　　许多女孩子面男友的要求，诸如接吻，性行为或求婚时，都会一时间感到茫然不知所措，一方面不愿意答应，另一方面又不想让对方难堪！

　　所以，你应坦白告诉他，你不是随便的女孩子，而你非常喜欢他，但一定要待双方有更深入的了解才可有进步的行为！

　　虽然你应采取坚决的态度，但切勿厉言大骂对方，尤其什么衣冠禽兽，咸湿佬之类的说话，这样会严重打击他的自尊心，从而伤害你们之间的感情！

五）互相拜访

　　恋爱了好一段日子，你应主动提出到他家探访的建议，这不但表现了你的礼貌，也表明了你是一个大方的人，而作为另一方亦应尽量制造机会让双亲和伴侣攀谈，能与对方家人建立融洽关系，可助两人的感情进展得更好更快！

六）分享情趣

　　恋爱初期，男女双方很享受二人世界，无论他们到哪里也感到满足，但时间久了，往往会觉得吃饭看电影的拍拖形式太单调，这时，你应当把一向向往做而没机会做的事告诉对方，希望对方能跟自己分享共同的兴趣，或者，让自己投入到对方的爱好中，例如：他爱打保龄球，你可以让他教你打保龄球，然后一起玩，总之，尽量营造两人不平凡的天地，令你们的感情更易开花结果！

"Back to the starting point"..

whether this can be achieve, this already doesn't matter. Because in realistic, this already become an unachievable point. The point is yet so near far far away from me...

Human unable to accept the truth, they like to avoid and run away from the truth. Truth really is that hard to live with, I really don't understand. Before that, i believe in happiness. But just that, truth always must come to disturb my happiness, take away what i believe in? now left only sadness and darkness. I always tell myself, you can get through this, you must get through this. This is just part of the life, not only you suffering, outside might be alot of others also suffering the same. But human heart is so weak, sometimes weak sometimes tough, the brain and the heart always want to control what we are thinking, really hard to decide.

why is this happening to me? this is always the question i been asking myself for the past few months. Is the god giving me a test? a test for my life. I hope I able to get through this, when things comes around. I always tell myself, stay tough stay strong, you can make through this. When things starting to get a bit color, then all badness come to again, it just keep repeating and repeating throughout my life. I don't know whether I can stand tough on this. Giving up is just not part of my life, I don't want to give up, this is not my life. God won't just let me stop here, he must be giving chances for me to move up. I hope he do....

I admit i got a weak heart, a heart that can't carry any big burden. But this is life.. we have to admit to our life and our choice. Please don't take away of what i believe in.. a simple life will do. That what he told me, " simple life is good enough", don't do extra things, don't make things so complicated. Am i making life so complicated? I just keep my mouth shut, thats all, and my life become totally complicated for him. I am so down so stress so pressure .. why can't it be just as the starting point? There is no turning back for me, the only path is to face ahead my life, overcome the obstacles in my life. Am i able to do it? Am i confidence enough to do it? I hope i do.. say is easier than do..when words come into action, is really hard. How to take the 1st step? is really so so so difficult. This is just life! Tears won't able to settle everything. This is just the truth...

Take care my soul.. be brave! stay tough! please don't be cruel to yourself. Love yourself more.. this is what I always remind myself. I am not alone..

My company annual dinner at Penang - Bayview Beach Resort

Back again with more photos where my company annual dinner held at Penang, Bayview Beach Resort. Quite a big resort also, got a big swimming pool and a white sand beach just outside the resort. Wonderful!!! But the time i reach, already start the tele-match game, then dinner rehearsal for a short performance, after bath hv to get dress up for the annual dinner some more. What you know? I dress up as Kadazan, looks nice but the material of the dress make me feel hot onli. After dinner disco till midnite, the next day after breakfast then go for my company branch visit, but some biscuits in the market. Lunch at Evergreen seafood restaurant if i am not mistaken, wat to say? The food so so la... the most regret that I didnt done in Penang is to EAT !!!! especially those Char Kiew Tiu .. penang food..!

我靠在我的大辦公桌，端著熱奶茶，看著辦公室外頭的夜景。

川流不息的車燈，讓我想起我的 BMW — 在我失業的第3個月賣掉的愛駒。

是的，我也曾失業過數月，即使我現位列年薪 7 位數的外商高階主管。

在我尋覓新枝而四處面試時，遇到不少鮮事，其中一位態度甚差的人資主管，尤其讓
我印象深刻，她首先讓我等了近 30分，姿態頗高，面談時也不太看人，肢體語言輕
率，其間接了 6 次手機，每次大概講了至少 2 分鐘，包括朋友家人，”會帶 XX 菜回
家 ” 云云，絲毫不覺不妥。

最後，她告訴我：「你的履歷很完整，(看著履歷表)，阿!你是 xx 座的，這種人工作
認真，你有工作狂的傾向吧。」

我一直記得這個 ”怪怪”的 interview。

~~~而今天就像連續劇情節般，我面試到她。

一進來，我就認出她來。我更好奇將她履歷看的更仔細些，在餘光中我察覺到她似乎
也對我有印象。
事實上，她的履歷穩定度不高，每個工作平均約 1.5年，現在也是處於待業狀態。
我問她離職原因，回答是個人因素(???)。

我告訴她，這個職務英文須聽說寫流利，她點頭說知道。
〈我注意到她履歷表上寫著英文流利。〉

「 Good!」，我說「因你並無任何外商履歷，以下我們皆以英文面談。」

她臉上掠過一絲不安…..

讓我訝異的是，所有對話幾乎是答非所問，且回答不超過3句。如:「 Could you tell
me the difference between“ career’ and“ job” ?」
「I all like them」(?????)

「Excuse me?」
「Oh! It 's ok !」(?????)

「Excuse me?」
「Oh! It 's ok !」(?????)

她越來越焦慮，我也是人，雖然湧起幾分復仇的快感，但很快被悲哀取代。

台語俗諺說得好：搖擺沒有落魄得久，攏是相遇得到的。

我很快結束了面試，而她在起身時，還因撞到差點跌倒，幾乎 ”狼狽”地走出my
office.

我突然想起很多人們，那些也曾遭受”莊孝維般的面試”故事，真的，不少待業中的網
友們能力只缺伯樂；也不少人只是尸位素餐而已。

人生很像海浪，時高時低，漲潮時固然身價水漲船高；退潮時也剛好檢視許久不見的
抬下斑駁。每個人都有潛在的失業危險，每個人也都有他的潛力與運氣。

謝謝老天爺上了我一課，僅此與大家分享。

一杯鮮奶 (很值得思考)

一個窮苦學生，為了付學費，挨家挨戶地推銷貨品。

到了晚上，發現自己的肚子很餓，而口袋裡只剩下一個小錢。

然而當一位年輕貌美的女孩子打開門時，他卻失去了勇氣。

他沒敢討飯，卻只要求一杯水喝。

女孩看出來他飢餓的樣子，於是給他端出一大杯鮮奶來。

他不慌不忙地將它喝下。而且問說，『應付多少錢？』

而她的答覆卻是：「你不欠我一分錢。母親告訴我們，不要為善事要求回報。」

於是他說：「那麼我只有由衷地謝謝了」

當郝武德‧凱禮離開時，不但覺得自己的身體強壯了不少，而且對天主與對人的信心也
增強了起來。

他原來已經陷入絕境，準備放棄一切的。

數年後，那個年輕女孩病情危急。當地醫生都已束手無策。

家人終於將她送進大都市，以便請專家來檢查她罕見的病情。

他們請到了郝武德‧凱禮醫生來診斷。

當他聽說，病人是某某城的人時，他的眼中充滿了奇特的光輝。
<>他立刻穿上醫生服裝，走向醫院大廳，進了她的病房。

醫生一眼就認出了她。

他立刻回到診斷室，並且下定決心要盡最大的努力來挽救她的性命。

從那天起，他特別觀察她的病情。

經過一次漫長的奮鬥之後，終於讓她起死回生，戰勝了病魔。

最後，批價室將出院的帳單送到醫生手中，請他簽字。

醫生看了帳單一眼，然後在帳單邊緣上寫了幾個字，就將帳單轉送到她的病房裡。

她不敢打開帳單，因為她確定，需要她一輩子才能還清這筆醫藥費。

但最後她還是打開看了，而且帳單邊緣上的一些東西，特別引起她的注目。

她看到了這麼一句話：「一杯鮮奶已足以付清全部的醫藥費！」

眼中氾濫著淚水，她心中高興地祈禱著：「天主啊！感謝您，感謝您的慈愛，藉由眾

This is a very touching story, please read it slowly, I've read it more than twice....

When You Divorce Me, Carry Me Out in Your Arms

On my wedding day, I carried my wife in my arms. The bridal car Stopped in front of our one-room flat. My buddies insisted that I carry her out of the car in my arms. So I carried her into our home. She was then plump and shy.. I was a strong and happy bridegroom. This was the scene ten years ago.

The following days were as simple as a cup of pure water: we had a kid; I went into business and tried to make more money. When the assets were steadily increasing, the affection between us seemed to ebb. She was a civil servant. Every morning we left home together and got home almost at the same time. Our kid was studying in a boarding school.

Our marriage life seemed to be enviably happy. But the calm life was more likely to be affected by unpredictable changes.

Dew came into my life.
It was a sunny day. I stood on a spacious balcony. Dew hugged me from behind. My heart once again was immersed in her stream of love.

This was the apartment I bought for her. Dew said, you are the kind of man who best draws girls' eyeballs. Her words suddenly reminded me of my wife. When we were just married, my wife said, Men like you, once successful, will be very attractive to girls.

Thinking of this, I became somewhat hesitant. I knew I had betrayed my wife.. But I couldn't help doing so. I moved Dew's hands aside and said you go to select some furniture, O.K.?

I've got something to do in the company. Obviously she was unhappy, because I had promised to do it together with her. At the moment,the idea of divorce became clearer in my mind although it used to be something impossible to me.

However, I found it rather difficult to tell my wife about it. No matter how mildly I mentioned it to her, she would be deeply hurt. Honestly, she was a good wife. Every evening she was busy preparing dinner. I was sitting in front of the TV. The dinner was ready soon.Then we watched TV together. Or, I was lounging before the computer, visualizing Dew's body. This was the means of my entertainment.

One day I said to her in a slightly joking way, suppose we divorce,what will you do? She stared at me for a few seconds without a word. Apparently she believed that divorce was something too far away from her. I couldn't imagine how she would react once she got to know I was serious.

When my wife went to my office, Dew had just stepped out. Almost all the staff looked at my wife with a sympathetic eye and tried to hide something

while talking to her. She seemed to have got some hint. She gently smiled at my subordinates. But I read some hurt in her eyes. Once again, Dew said to me, He Ning, divorce her, O.K.? Then we live together. I nodded. I knew I could not hesitate any more.

When my wife served the last dish, I held her hand. I've got Something to tell you, I said. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce.I raised the serious topic calmly. She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I'm serious. I avoided her question. This so-called answer made her angry.. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man!

That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I ould hardly give her a satisfactory answer, because my heart had gone to Dew.

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. I felt a pain in my heart. The woman who had been living ten years with me would become a
stranger one day. But I could not take back what I had said. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The
idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer.

Late that night, I came back home after entertaining my clients. I saw her writing something at the table. I fall asleep fast. When I woke up, I found she was still there. I turned over and was asleep again. She brought up her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but I was supposed to give her one month s time before divorce, and in the month's time we must live as normal a life as possible. Her reason was simple: our son would finish his summer vacation a month later and she didn't want him to see our marriage was broken.

She passed me the agreement she drafted, and then asked me, He Ning, do you still remember how I entered our bridal room on the wedding day? This question suddenly brought back all those wonderful memories to me.

I nodded and said, I remember. You carried me in your arms, she continued, so, I have a requirement, that is, you carry me out in your arms on the day when we divorce. From now to the end of this month, you must carry me out from the bedroom to the door every morning. I accepted with a smile. I knew she missed those sweet days and wished to end her marriage romantically. I told Dew about my wife s divorce conditions. She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she does, she has to face the result of divorce, she said scornfully. Her words more or less made me feel uncomfortable.

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. We even treated each other as a stranger. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy.

Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly, Let us start from today, don't tell our son. I
nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for a bus, I drove to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. We were so close that I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this intimate woman carefully for a long time. I found she was not young any more. There were some fine
wrinkles on her face.

On the third day, she whispered to me, the outside garden is being demolished. Be careful when you pass there.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I seemed to feel that we were still an intimate couple and I was holding my sweetheart in my arms. The visualization of Dew became vague.

On the fifth and sixth day, she kept reminding me something, such as, where she put the ironed shirts, I should be careful while cooking, etc. I nodded. The sense of intimacy was even stronger. I didn't tell Dew about this.

I felt it was easier to carry her. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger. I said to her, It seems not difficult to carry you now. She was picking her dresses. I was waiting to carry her out. She tried quite a few but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I smiled. But I suddenly realized that it was because she was thinner that I could carry her more easily, not because I was stronger. I knew she had buried all the bitterness in
her heart. Again, I felt a sense of pain.. Subconsciously I reached out a hand to touch her head.
Our son came in at the moment. Dad, it's time to carry mum out. He said. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had been an essential part of his life. She gestured our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face because I was afraid I would change my mind at the last minute. I held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly, as if we came back to our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. She said, actually I hope you will hold
me in your arms until we are old. I held her tightly and said, both you and I didn't notice that our life lacked intimacy. I jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my decision. I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door. I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I won't divorce. I'm serious.

She looked at me, astonished. The she touched my forehead. You got no fever.. She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I can only say sorry to you, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of life, not
because we didn't love each other any more. Now I understand that since I carried her into the home, she gave birth to our child, I am supposed to hold her until I am old. So I have to say sorry to you. Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove to the office.

When I passed the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet for my wife which was her favorite. The salesgirl asked me what to write on thecard. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until we are old.
